When I first began to think about wedding and event planning as a business the first step was finding the right name and so the juggle of words that best suited my vision began. From a career planted deeply in the hospitality business I chose MerryMakers; which is to take part enthusiastically in a celebration, creating magic and lasting memories for all who are part of the revelry.
Along the way a legacy has been created. We done multiple siblings’ weddings and friends of friends of friend’s weddings. Word of mouth has become our best advertising. Our intent is to always live up to our reputation.
I love MerryMaking! We plan, coordinate, produce, design and stage manage joyous, lovely, creative, fun and heartfelt weddings and events.

Creative Partnerships
Larissa Flynn
Larissa has been collaborating with MerryMakers since 2019 when she created an anniversary painting as a gift from me (Kris) to my husband. We have been fans of Larissa’s artwork for many years and are lucky enough to have several of her pieces.
An idea to begin painting MerryMakers couples came shortly after the anniversary painting. I wanted to gift our couples an heirloom for them to have and pass down (that was also personal and fun!). Larissa is given a number of portraits from the wedding photographer, and she chooses what inspires her for each couple! Larissa used to live down the block from me but is in Florida now and I love that we continue the collaboration!
