Team MerryMakers! Ashley has been integral to MerryMakers for nearly a decade. I love her, she’s my friend, collaborator, my kid by another mother. She also mom to three amazing boys, a daughter, a sister, she sings, she dances, she coaches, she lights up a room, she engages those around her. Her beauty is inside and out. She laughs and smiles easily.
Ashley’s an entrepreneur with a vision and a marketing wiz kid. Intelligent, empathetic, caring, type A, multi-tasker, gorgeous human, in other words a perfect MerryMaker! I can’t wait for what 2022 brings. Let’s do this!
Taylor Swaim
Meet Taylor Swaim! I love this shot from our style shoot at The Boathouse on Lake Charlevoix by Andrejka Photography. Taylor led the design and curated her vision. We loved producing this with her in two styles and collaborating with 20 plus vendors showing their talents and love of all things wedding.
Taylor brings so much to our team and to your day. She grew up in Boyne City and studied design at Western Michigan University (go Broncos). She’s an amazing human and she makes me smile! I love you! Thank you for being on our team and in my life!
Gary Marvin
Team MerryMakers introducing Gary Marvin. Gary is family by all ways of looking at it. His mom and my dad were first cousins. His mom was a bridesmaid in my parents wedding. We really to my memory met as managers for Stafford’s Weathervane Restaurant. Gary went on to own Marvin’s Gardens and for many years has helped our couples with their visions doing Eventscaping (we made up the word for his amazing vignettes and much more using natural fibers, plants and lighting to whisk you away).
He also is an incredible member of the MerryMaking team. We love leaning on him to punt and put at ease all things during the course of a wedding or event! Into the Woods is his design company! We are lucky to have him on board and call him friend not to mention family!
